Backstrom is a Swedish songwriter in the genres of Country, Rock and Folk, who prefers to write songs from other people’s lyrics. He had a long break not playing any music, but he has made a comeback to music 2023, and is releasing his debut album, "The Carousel," on the 18th of January, 2024.
Backstrom also presents the song ”Animal,” a dark and folky, yet strongly melodic piece, with lyrics that tell of the inner animal that still lurks within the modern civilized human being. Both tracks will be featured on the upcoming album, ”The Carousel.” Stay Tuned!
