PianoFromNorth is the project of Danish pianist and composer Michael Pedersen. Over the years, he has played music at both small and large events, witnessing the power of music to bring joy, comfort, and foster a sense of community among people. This invaluable experience sparked a natural inspiration and a deep connection with music, leading to the creation of PianoFromNorth, a collection of melodic and lyrical piano pieces inspired by Scandinavian music and nature.
Now, PianoFromNorth presents two tracks, the first being "Snowflakes," an enchanting composition inspired by the magical dance of snowflakes as they gracefully and unpredictably whirl through the air in every direction, and ”Dance With Me,” a heartwarming composition that transports the listener to the world of Romance.
Recorded at Blue Apple Sound Design in Denmark on a Kawai RX-3 Grand Piano, each composition offers an authentic, acoustic and organic experience. Feel the hammers touch the strings and sit back while the movements create the heart and soul of these enhancing Scandinavian piano tunes.
