Gareth Nugent & Ellinor Springstrike - The Look

Ellinor Springstrike and Gareth Nugent releases their take on iconic “The Look” Country artists Ellinor Springstrike from Umeå, Sweden, and Gareth Nugent, from Dublin, Ireland, have joined forces to create their own interpretation of Roxette's iconic hit "The Look". Their version is a lovely blend of their respective musical styles - Ellinor's pop-country and Gareth's rock/rock-country - with a homage to the original's 80s vibes through the classic synth loop. Amir Aly is in charge of the production. “Collaborating with Gareth on ‘the Look’ has been incredible fun. It feels like we managed to unite our different musical styles in this version and I hope our listeners will enjoy it as much as we do," says Ellinor.

Gareth says: "It's always fun to work with Ellinor, her voice and energy are incredible, and I really believe and hope that more than us will like our interpretation." Ellinor Springstrike, from Umeå, Sweden, has in a short time gained a large fanbase and millions of streams. Her musical journey began at home on the kitchen sofa with her grandfather, where she sang to his accordion. 

Since then, she has worked with several of Nashville's biggest songwriters and been noticed by international music media. Gareth Nugent, artist and songwriter from Dublin, grew up in a musical environment. After attending Mount Temple, the same school as U2, he moved to the UK where he has played in bands and toured all over the UK. Gareth has also had the role of Elvis in 'Elvis the Musical' in London's West End - where he took over the lead role of Elvis after just three weeks.
