Marije - Insane

Marije is an independent Dutch recording artist based in Switzerland who debuted in 2016 with a radio-ready mainstream pop sound. Marije has been singing passionately since she was 4 years old and gave her first concert at the age of 6. She wrote her first song at the age of 8 and placed in the top 10 of the RTL 2 TV format "Kay One - Sängerin gesucht" in 2016. Due to sexual harassment, she prematurely and extraordinarily terminated her record contract with the US label "XCX Artists,” under which she released music as "Chrissy Lee".

Marije has been performing under her real name again since 2020 and has released a number of singles, including "Toxic Love" and “Phantom”, which are still being played on various radio stations today. Since December 2023, there has been a rebranding, with the singer fully embracing rock and metal music. Her prior hit, "Phantom," was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and continues to earn global airplay, ascending the ranks on rock and indie charts worldwide.
