The undisputed Queen of House Music, Barbara Tucker, releases the first solo single off her upcoming artist album. Celebrating an incredible 40 years as a recording and performing artist in the genre, this revered soprano has consistently taken global audiences to new heights with her inspirational lyrics and extraordinary, unmatched vocal delivery. Most noted for her multiple worldwide smash hits, Beautiful People, Most Precious Love, I Get Lifted and many others that have hit the UK’s Top of The Pops as well as the top of the Billboard Magazine Club Charts, Ms. Tucker remains at the top of her club game.
She does so by releasing music with various notable producers as well as outstanding releases with The BCrew trio on her own BStar Music Group label, all the while involving herself with notable charity work, keeping her firmly planted as an asset to the global House community and beyond. For this new debut, aptly named “Can’t Bring Me Down,” she teamed up with Chicago House mainstay Georgie Porgie, owner of Music Plant imprint and who himself has sold millions of singles and had his fair share of #1 club hits. Together they have created a real powerhouse of a single whose strength shines through, with its mighty 4/4 drums, sweeping strings, dynamic melodies, and Barbara’s commanding vocal performance.
While Georgie graces us with the Original and bonus, even more energetic Love House remixes, we also offer remixes by a new generation of club-stars on the block; a duo who’ve seen their share of amazing releases on their own imprint and constantly touring worldwide at clubs and festivals, namely Soul Clap.
