Don Allen is an award-winning
Country Music artist located in Queensland Australia. His
passion is traditional country with his latest albums being recorded
in the heart of Country music, Nashville TN and his latest singles
recorded and produced locally. His latest release, the well-known
gospel song – “How Great Thou Art” is a true masterpiece
and one Don is extremely proud of. You will see there are two
versions with one being part chorus in Māori language from his
home country New Zealand.
“Suzanne” his previous
release is a toe tapping, sing-along tune and recently achieved No.
1 on a top Australian Country Music chart…… His previous release “Hold Your
Head High” written and performed by Don is a powerful and
uplifting Australiana song and something completely different from
his usual style, accompanied with an equally powerful and uplifting
video. Born and raised on a dairy farm in New
Zealand, from a young age Don has been heavily involved in the
country music scene in NZ, Australia and in the USA. After his stint
living in the USA in his 20’s, Don was moving back to New Zealand
but made a stopover in Australia that has lasted 45+ years!
Over many years Don has performed at a
variety of venues in Australia, New Zealand and the USA, rubbing
shoulders and making lifelong friendships with some of their biggest
stars. Don has recorded five studio albums and
many of the songs from these albums can also be found YouTube,
Spotify and most digital platforms……….

Some songs from these albums have
earned Don a string of hits on country music charts throughout
Australia and Internationally and had him successfully nominated in
the prestigious Josie Music Awards 2017 and 2018 in the USA. Don will be releasing another fantastic
song very shortly and then another toe-tapping sing-along tune before
the end of the year so is pretty busy doing what he loves the most –
making music and entertaining
