Gene Bradley Fisk is an award winning singer/songwriter/recording artist,
actor & radio personality inducted into the “Broadcasters Hall of Fame” &
the “Australian Country Music Hands Of Fame”, with a career spanning over
6 decades.
In his 89th year Gene continues to be an active performer & promoter of
Country Music in Australia, & currently hosts “OZ Country”, radio show
playing new releases by Australian & New Zealand Country Music Artists
on live radio and Podcast.
Beginning as an apprentice in the Royal Australian Air Force & is decorated
for his 15 years of service to his country.
During his tours of duty to Thailand & Malaysia he began his broadcasting
career with Radio RAAF Butterworth, & in civilian life went on to a very
successful career as a DJ & programme manager of Top rated radio stations,
including Country Music formats in Australia.
A pioneer exponent of the ‘Outlaw Genre’ flourishing in the 1970’s,
Gene was instrumental in the spread of country music’s popularity.
Championing the sound of the genre in Australia, while pushing the
boundaries, carving his own musical path & influencing the direction of
many fellow travellers.

whether he be conjuring up true-life historical tales, or channelling
the style music of music he has loved, performed and promoted for
all of his eventful life.
