Joel Goldenberger (25) is a pop artist from Lucerne, Switzerland. With his debut album «Come Back Home» (2020), he reached number 5 in the Swiss album charts. Since launching his career, he has been heard regularly, for example on the Swiss TV show «Sing It Your Way», in which he took part in the final. Following his latest EP «Deep Sea Treasure» (2022), which included his first ever tour throughout Switzerland, a new project was launched in December 2023: «The Christmas Project» was premiered - a series of Christmas concerts with a 60-piece choir, full band and songs by Joel Goldenberger, which delighted around 1,000 spectators.
Joel Goldenberger's new single "rely on" is an ode to friendship. The song addresses the connection and permanence of friendly relationships, even when one sometimes struggles to express their feelings about it. Personally, Joel dedicates this song to his brother, with whom he shared a carefree and enjoyable childhood. The shared roots and all the experiences have formed a deep bond that continues to endure in the present. "rely on" also aims to encourage listeners to step out of their comfort zone and tell their loved ones (once again) that they appreciate having them by their side: "I am here - you can count on me."
