#076 was crafted in Valencia, Spain, and bears the signature of PIGMENTO SóNICO. With a strong foundation in classical music education, particularly as a saxophonist trained at the conservatory, transitioned into the world of electronic music production and mixing after attending Millenia Music School in 2014. Initially immersed in urban music until 2020, then began exploring the realms of electronic and dance music.
A longtime admirer of acid sounds and bass lines, PIGMENTO also harbors a deep love for Minimal, Rominimal, and House music. In the pursuit of blending these genres, the result was the creation of three original tracks that culminated in the Circus EP. The track “Moria” is an exploration of harder techno sounds. Roger Dub amplifies this concept by offering a deeper, softer take, incorporating atmospheric elements to enrich the vocals of Moria with added melody.
Acid Driver reimagines both Circus, the EP’s title track, and Moria through the lens of modern technology, skillfully merging hardware machines with contemporary techniques. The TT-303 and Bass Station II are employed to infuse Circus with a more Acid-driven vibe, while Moria embraces a Breakbeat 3L3C7RO twist.
