While the whole world is experiencing very sad times in 2020, ANNE J. confines herself
with her guitar and her pen and begins to compose songs with the aim of offering a
moment of comfort and lightness. Her enthusiasm, her freshness and her spontaneity
allow her to put to music her daily life, the beauty of nature and her wonder for the
little joys of life. Her resolutely positive inspiration guided her on the right path: in
these difficult times, that’s all the public needed!
Very quickly encouraged by her family and friends, she broadcast her first YouTube
videos and organized successful Facebook Live aperitif concerts which allowed her to
bring together more and more fans for a moment of conviviality and sharing. It’s a
real rebirth for her.
From this musical and friendly impulse will be born the somewhat crazy idea of
creating an album and organizing concerts. Mutual aid, encouragement and
wonderful encounters dotted the path that led ANNE J. to the creation of a first album
“Spread Your Wings.”, soon followed by “The Sailor”.
By happy coincidence, Anne crossed paths with Éric Lang, a professional pianist and
jazz enthusiast, who became the main arranger of her compositions and with whom
she recorded her first takes. The team expanded with a drummer and a bassist to
finally produce very high quality acoustic results
Anne J. continues to let herself be inspired and touched by what surrounds her by experimenting
