Introducing the Swedish rock band Incase and their brand new single "Don't Wanna Let Go," a rock/pop song with high energy and a classic meloncholic edge. A hit-ready track ideal for heavy radio play! The lyrics reflect the challenging journey of one band member, capturing a time marked by struggles with substance abuse, anxiety and a painful breakup. The reunion of the band, rekindled friendships, and the release of this song symbolize a fresh start – a transformative step forward that has become a meaningful support in an ongoing journey of recovery.
The Swedish rock band Incase consists of Jimmy Ahxner (lead vocals/guitar), Tomas Granlind (bass), Kimmen Ahxner (drums), and Jonas Karlsson (keys). Incase was formed as an "in-house project" at Centercourt Music studios in Stockholm, Sweden, around 2008. The name "Incase" was carried over from lead singer Jimmy Ahxner’s former youth rock band, which had dissolved a few years earlier. The "in-house project" was fueled by a love for rock music, good friendships, and plenty of beer.
Before 2011, the band had no ambitions beyond having a great time. However, after writing some solid songs and playing a few live gigs, they decided to release an album. Their first track, "One Day," was mixed by none other than English multi-platinum award-winning producer David Bendeth. The song gained attention in the pre-streaming era and received airplay on Bandit Rock, the most popular rock radio station in Sweden at the time. Unfortunately, "One Day" remained the only song released. Life took its course, and the band had to set aside their plans to continue together. As the years went by, it seemed increasingly unlikely that Incase would ever release more music, until now.
