Vocalist, song writer and solo artist, 15-year-old Luka, is new to the music scene. Raised in Perth, his
connection to music started as a child. His music passion was sparked early with his ability to move
audiences with soulful, vocal talent.
He was recognised early for his ability and invited to sing in front of thousands as part of the One Big
Voice Festival in 2018. From there he was a finalist in this event’s young talent competition in 2019,
2020 and 2023. As front man for the band Rock Frogs, his exposure continued with performances at
Crown Casino and Perth Concert Hall.
Playing covers including ACDC, Rolling Stones and Foo Fighters
helped him appreciate the power of old rock and bring this vibe into his own artistry. He went on to
win best contemporary band (2018) and best vocal soloist (2019) in the Spirit Arts Festival, WA
Performing Arts schools and colleges.
As Luka’s music influences expanded to hip-hop, indie and pop, his desire to compose his own works
began with his first original song, When She Leaves Me.
At age 12, he became a top 5 finalist in the
WA Music Awards in 2023. In 2024, his next original song, If I Was a Good Man, also nominated in
the top 5 songs for the WA Music Awards in 2024, captures the essence of his song writing; to create
greater meaning out of everyday moments. In his words, Luka’s ultimate goal is “to make people feel
something when they listen to my music, that they’re personal experiences will really resonate with
my music.” His latest release ‘Not Your World” a hip-hop/electronic motivating song reflects on
challenging those who try to control us, rising above this to go our own way
