Escape from the Christmas crush to a nostalgic
winter-scape in Owen's rocking new single, ' Back in the
Snowies'. City gives way to snow as the comfort of
home is found curled up around a fire with the one you
love.
'Back in the Snowies' was produced by Australian
legend, Simon Johnson, and is backed by an all-star
band including Liam Kennedy-Clark (keys), Shane
Nicholson (guitars), Simon Johnson (bass), and Brad
Bergen (drums).
The song is the capstone of Owen's new EP, 'The
Snowies'. It ties together snapshots of life growing up
on the land. The EP is available for sale from Owen's
website.
Owen graduated from the CMAA Academy in 2024 making his radio debut with ‘Wild Wild Weather’
and charting with his single ‘That Old Hills Hoist’. He’s reached six continents, clocked up 4k+ radio
spins and been featured on Apple Music editorials and ABC's Edge of Country
