Phoebe Hutchison, singer, songwriter, author and counsellor, is fully trained in Opera, yet chooses to sing country rock ballads.
Phoebe has been singing professionally forever (over 600 gigs) and is just finishing her 3rd album entitled This Little Town of Mine. It was written for her hometown of Bairnsdale. Phoebe has teamed up with close friends Laurel and Glenn Calvert, her husband Dave, and son Karl, to form The Laurel and Phoebe Band, performing songs from the 60’s – now, plus originals! They performed at The Country Music Festival in Sale, supporting artists such as Adam Brand in 2022.
Phoebe was on Rage TV with her original song/video clip, “Simon Says” in 2001. In Tamworth 2025, Phoebe will appear in some TSA appearances supported by Laurel Calvert, with some full band gigs. She has finally brought the whole band to Tamworth, including Duncan Clarke lead guitarist.
Phoebe has just released, “I Won’t Say I Miss You” over the loss of her Dad, as well as “My Little Companion” for her son when he was 7 years old, which are both additions to the album This Little Town of Mine.
