In 2023, Grey Rails released their debut, self-titled album of all-original music. A varied collection of songs written over a span of 30 years by Travis Daudert, the album "Grey Rails" draws from a life in music, with sounds that are an eclectic mix of styles and forms. "The Music Within" is the album's opening track, and it is an upbeat song about the healing powers of music and the unfortunate state of the world we currently live in. Gray Rails also presents the song "Bluebird," the third track of "Grey Rails," and an ode to one of the oldest stories known to humankind - the loss of love - and a plea for healing.
